Encore Dance has been operating in Hobart for over 40 years under the guidence of Studio Director Sharon Shirley. At Encore, we pride ourselves on being more than a dance studio; we are a close-knit community that transcends the art of dance. We encourage collaboration, support, and camaraderie among our dancers, fostering an atmosphere that feels like a second home.
Every dancers, whether in the past or present, holds a special place in our community. We celebrate the diversity of talents, backgrounds, and personalities that each dancer brings, recognizing that they contribute to the unique tapestry that is Encore Dance.

Tassie Dancers Against Cancer is an initiative that defines the heart and soul of Encore's community spirit. TDAC brings together Tasmanian dancers to help raise much needed funds for cancer research and services. Our annual TDAC Dancefest is a highlight of the year where we turn our passion into purpose and make a difference in the lives of those touched by cancer. Together, we can make a difference!
